Prayer Before the Blessed Sacrament

O Lord Jesus Christ, who for the love You bear us remain night and day

in this sacrament, full of compassion and awaiting all who visit You,

I believe that You are truly present in the Sacrament of the Altar.

I adore You from the depth of my nothingness.

I thank You for every grace, especially for giving Yourself to us,

for giving us Your holy Mother, and for calling me here before You.

I greet Your most loving Heart.

I desire to adore You, to thank You, to make reparation for sin,

and to unite myself to You. Draw me wholly into Your love. Amen.

Jesus, I believe that You are here—Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity—

under the appearances of bread. Strengthen my unbelief.

My Lord and my God, I adore You with the angels and saints.

All that I am bows before Your majesty and Your hidden humility.

Jesus, I thank You for the Eucharist, for Your Cross and Resurrection,

for the Church, the sacraments, and every grace known and unknown.

Merciful Jesus, I offer You my love for every neglect, indifference,

and offense against Your presence in this sacrament.

Receive the worship of Your whole Church in reparation.

Lord, remember Your Church, the poor, the sick, the lonely,

those who have asked my prayers, and those who do not know how to pray.

Give us what leads to salvation and conform our desires to Your will.

O Jesus, remain with me by Your grace when I leave this place.

May I recognize Your presence in every person I meet

and carry the peace of this hour into faithful service. Amen.
